Drypoint on Tetra Pak
Drypoint on Tetrapak Workshop on Saturday March 29th, 2025, 10am -4pm.,
The workshop is led by Christine Olson and Karen Adrienne.
Brown Bag or local restaurants 12-12:45pm.
Are you wondering what a Tetra Pak is, and what we will be doing with it? You have a chance to upcycle your soup cartons, almond milk, broth cartons etc. and create a printing plate by direct drawing with an etching needle. The Tetra Pak plates are inked, and then be printed on press.
Anyone interested in the Drypoint printmaking technique (scratching an image into a plate with a sharp needle) has chance to get involved in one of the easiest ways. No experience is needed. You will be introduced to this very accessible 21st century variant of the Drypoint technique.
